Welcome to 4K River Ranch RV & Lodging located in Red River, NM.

There are no A/C units in any of our condos or cabins. From Oct 10th - 31st you make book sites 10-18, 34-61 with electric and sewer only. Weather permitting. The only sites that have water, electric and sewer year 'round are sites 62-71. You must call in to book sites with no water during the fall. Sites 46B, 48B, 50B, 52B are available during the winter months as overflow sites with electric and sewer only as well.

Beginning October 10th, 2022 we will no longer allow any pets in any of our condos, cabins or the View. We regret having to change this policy, but there has been way too much damage from animals in our structures. If you are found with a pet you will be charged a $250 fee to your card on file.

The pond is only stocked during our summer season, which runs from May 1st thru the first weekend of October.


It is illegal to move firewood into New Mexico from most eastern and midwestern states due to quarantines aimed at preventing the spread of tree pests like the spongy moth and imported fire ant. Also, it is illegal to take firewood out of Dona Ana county, to prevent the spread of imported fire ant within the New Mexico. Taking firewood out of New Mexico and into most midwestern and eastern states is against their state laws to prevent the spread of forest pests like thousand cankers disease.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection also encourages campers to burn firewood where you obtain it and to avoid moving firewood from one campground to another. All firewood entering Arizona from Mexico is subject to inspection at ports of entry.

Two additional tree pests that pose a serious threat to New Mexico's native forests are the goldspotted oak borer and the soapberry borer; both can infest new areas when people travel with firewood. To help prevent the spread of invasive tree pests, please always use local firewood.
If you would like to move your reservation you must do so at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. No moves within 14 days of your scheduled arrival are allowed. All cancellation policies apply. See Policies.


We offer year-round relaxation and adventure! Enjoy cool mountains in the summer, a reprieve from the heat, and find the best snow-making in the southern Rockies in the winter! We are a family oriented campground and we appreciate everyone being courteous to your fellow campers/guests. Please refer to our policies. We want everyone to enjoy their time while visiting 4K River Ranch and Red River! Although we do have WiFi, it is not guaranteed! We are in the mountains and the WiFi is sporadic at times. Also, because of the amount of people in the park at any one time it may be difficult to connect. We do NOT allow streaming or gaming of any kind. Please follow this rule, so others will have bandwidth as well. Verizon is the best cell phone service in Red River. The rest of them are hit and miss!

Holiday Bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE when booked. We require a 3 day minimum on all holiday bookings. When booking holidays online, we will collect a 20% deposit and then charge your card on file for the remainder of your balance within 24-48 hours.
